Giulio’s verdict: I grew up around the RA61 and when the newer popup lights ST162 and ST184 models became popular on the U>K roads. At the time they seemed more about fuction than form but then, like now, it’s either all about form, all about function or all about form and function. This, the simple version of the ST205 or the GT-Four as some of you would better know it as, is all about form. Tahara-san has gone clean with the addition of the mad camber and WAAAAANG. It’s not the route I would take because I’m not too into camber and the over sized wing that doesn’t really serve any purpose. I used to have a fairly big wing on my car but I recently decided to take it off. I like my camber to show juuuust enough to be noticed but then, at the end of the day it’s “built for you” and that’s all that counts in my book. I can appreciate what Tahara-san has done to his Celica, I’ve honestly never seen one like it and…..I dig it! Looks sweet.
